Use of any account of a UC computer by anyone other than the account's assigned owner is unauthorized unless special permission has been obtained from the systems administrator. Divulging account passwords or otherwise sharing your account without the authorization of the systems administrator; attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system or account; maliciously interfering with the operation of any system or account; excessive use of system or network resources or commercial use of University resources constitutes a violation of University regulations.
Activities on this system are monitored and recorded by system personnel. In the course of monitoring individuals suspected of improperly using the system, or in the course of system maintenance, the activities of authorized users may also be monitored and personal files may be viewed by system personnel. Anyone using this system expressly consents to such monitoring and is advised that if such monitoring revealed possible evidence of criminal activity, system personnel may provide the details of such monitoring to law enforcement officials.
